San Jose Sharks, Venuetize Partner for Safe Return of Fans

Tampa, FL and San Jose, CA (Dec 10, 2020) – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) have partnered with Venuetize as they prepare for the safe return and future event day experience of fans at SAP Center at San Jose (@SAPCenter) in 2021 and beyond. This partnership with Venuetize, experts in connecting technology ecosystems and delivering cutting edge, mobile-first and commerce experiences within the sports and entertainment industry, will allow fans to access mobile ordering and contactless methods of payments through their mobile device, all while tying in Sharks365 member benefits and other advanced payment methods through Venuetize’s e-commerce capabilities.

New features that will be accessible to fans upon their return to SAP Center include:

  • Sharks + SAPC In-App Ordering and Wallet: Mobile Ordering and personal Mobile Wallet
    included in the San Jose Sharks + SAP Center mobile application.
  • Member Benefits and Advanced Payment Methods: Mobile Wallet and e-commercecapabilities that combine Season Ticket Member discounts, promotional value, and other benefits that can be used during the mobile ordering process or presented directly at a concession stand location for one-click payment.
  • Variety of Order Options: The Venuetize platform will provide fans with the ability for Express Pick-up, In-seat Delivery, and Order Ahead to accommodate a variety of order placement options in the venue.
