Philadelphia Flyers Announce New Mobile Ticketing App, Powered by Venuetize

October 10, 2018 (Philadelphia, PA) – The Philadelphia Flyers and Venuetize have announced the official launch of the Wells Fargo Center app, designed to offer a mobile ticketing platform unique and personalized to every Flyers fan. The app is available for download on iPhone and Android devices today.

With the Wells Fargo Center app, anyone attending a game, concert, or other event at the team’s home arena will have the ability to view, manage, transfer, and scan their tickets for entry, eliminating the need for paper tickets or printers. These events include Philadelphia Flyers and Wings games, as well as select concerts and family shows. More features and offerings are set to be announced throughout the upcoming season.

“Offering an improved mobile experience helps us engage with our fans in new and more personal ways,” said Shawn Tilger, COO, Philadelphia Flyers. “By partnering with Venuetize, we are proud to present mobile ticketing and smart venue features that allow every guest to have a personalized and convenient experience when visiting the Wells Fargo Center.” The new app integrates with the venue’s Paciolan ticketing system, allowing the club to provide additional digital ticketing features. The contextually-driven Venuetize platform will also make it easy to serve up push notifications with useful information, offers, and rewards as fans navigate the stadium.

“Mobile ticketing, commerce, and contextual awareness all greatly enhance the fan experience,” said Karri Zaremba, Venuetize founder and COO. “Venuetize is pleased to have been chosen as the Flyer’s partner for turning the Wells Fargo Center into a smart space.”
