Technical Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to join our Technical Solutions Architect team. This position is responsible understanding our clients’ business requirements and providing expert technical guidance to our team of developers. In this role, you will have advanced level of oversight for multiple projects within the scope of responsibility of Technical Solutions Architect. In addition to providing technical solutions, you would be working closely with Project Coordinators and Engineers in the development team to ensure successful execution of the project. We are looking for a candidate that has deep knowledge and experience in Android and/or iOS platforms. This also includes knowledge of server-side technologies, development philosophies, and an awareness of leadership strategies within a shifting developer environment. This position requires steady leadership and guidance across numerous parallel projects.

Up to 25% travel required, depending on business needs.


  • Provide technical solutions that solve business problems and depict the technical design in an easy-to-understand format for the Development team
  • Work with a wide set of Project Coordinators, Product Owners, Designers, and other stakeholders, both internal and external, including: Customer Support, Engineering, Clients, as well as Third Party vendors
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert on third party software being integrated into the Venuetize Platform
  • Assist with the development of estimates, proposals, scopes, and strategies for assigned accounts and opportunities
  • Communicate highly technical concepts enthusiastically to a variety of audiences, including non-technical audiences
  • Detailed, clear and consistent communication, both verbal and written, with project stakeholders on development progress and project risks
  • Learn quickly and stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, products, and services
  • Understand relevant industry-based policies as they pertain to iOS, Android, and connected devices
  • Serve as an escalation point, troubleshooter, and problem solver for clients and development teams
  • Keep a flexible schedule aligning with client and team needs
  • Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, clients, prospects, sister offices, and third-party partners


  • 6+ years of experience across mobile and server-side technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree with a technology-related major, or an appropriate combination of education and experience
  • A strong, successful client service engineering track record in mobile with large enterprise customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member
  • Able to provide direction and guidance to various disciplines within the company
  • Able to provide high-level oversight in the implementation of work plans
  • Able to multitask and provide oversight across multiple projects and platforms simultaneously
  • Experience working remotely with teams in different geographies, including international teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain knowledge and experience with major sports leagues content
