Client Support & Configuration Specialist

Location: Tampa, FL; Remote Major US City

Job Description

We are growing! Venuetize is currently recruiting for a talented, Client Support  and Configuration Specialist with excellent communication, documentation and training skills to join our growing Customer Support team. This customer facing role will be responsible to provide onsite testing, training and customer support at our customer locations for new deployments and enhancements. This role requires 15-25% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support by managing and resolving tickets which have been escalated to Tier 2 support from Tier 1 support
  • Escalate complex tickets requiring Development resources to Tier 3 support, and monitor and track progress of escalated tickets to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintains service tickets and ensures timely resolution on escalated issues
  • Work with Project Coordinators to configure client system
  • Create and maintain documentation for configuration and training purposes
  • Develop an advanced knowledge of the Venuetize platform

Qualifications

  • A two-year degree in an IT-related field and/or similar certification in an IT-related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
  • 2 years of recent application troubleshooting experience, including at least 1 year of troubleshooting mobile applications
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems
  • Ability to work on multiple open projects at any given time
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with ticket tracking systems; knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work in a startup environment, including nights and weekends
  • Understanding of PaaS business model, a plus
